I’m Katarina, the founder of Kitteny. I do almost everything - designing, photography, going to India to work with production, making and managing the website, etc.

Each piece is designed to make you feel confident and comfortable. Dainty details, adjustable fits, and soft fabrics make it a dream to wear. We're ethically made, and we use natural materials that feel good and are easy on the environment.

FROM LOS ANGELES WITH LOVE

Our office is in downtown Los Angeles - it’s where everything is designed, photographed, and your orders are packed and shipped. You can also come try on and shop your favorite pieces if you’re in town!

THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED

Details like lace up corset-style backs and adjustable ties make everything fit perfectly, and finishing touches like rosettes and eyelet lace make each piece special. Every print is custom made by us, and each detail is thought through carefully.

There’s so much that goes into production - designing and making the technical drawings (I love doing these), the tech packs, and a lot of measuring, sampling and fitting the pieces. It usually takes a few months to develop a new style.

Ethically made

I've personally been to our partner factories to work with them and see their labor practices firsthand. Production workers are paid above minimum wage, have good working conditions, limited/paid overtime, and access to healthcare.

Our pieces are made in India, where the cotton is grown locally, simplifying the supply chain. It’s also one of the few regions where cotton can grow without heavy irrigation, which makes it gentler on the environment.

Always creative

Once a style is finalized, I need to shoot it! I like to have creative control over the whole process - it’s so helpful to see the pieces being worn during shoots.
I love to travel and do shoots all over the world - we’ve shot in Paris (twice!), the Bahamas, Hawai’i (a few times!), NYC, India, Mexico City, Miami, Colorado, and of course at home in our DTLA studio.

Made for you

Each product has fit recommendations and the model’s size/measurement listed to help you find your size. Ideally we try to shoot each piece on multiple models and sizes to help you select your size. The more information the better!
