FIT NOTES

LENGTH
We like our mini dresses short and sweet – generally the total length is about 31" for size S (increasing about a half an inch per size). The length depends on features like elastic or adjustable straps, so it may vary and can be customizable.

CUPPED / CORSET STYLES
For underwire cups: XS fits roughly an A–B cup, S a B–C, and so on. Shape and coverage preference are personal, but our cups are generally cut as a low balconette across all sizes. On cupped styles with corset lacing, proper back tension is key. Tighten the lacing first, then adjust the straps. Over-tightening straps can cause gaping and poor cup fit.

WAIST & PROPORTIONS
Waist placement varies by style (underbust, natural waist, or slightly dropped), which can affect how the dress fits and where it hits on the body.

FABRIC & STRETCH
Non-stretch styles will fit more precisely; elastic panels are meant to add comfort and flexibility, not full size adjustment.

BETWEEN SIZES
Rarely does anyone match a size chart perfectly. If you’re between sizes, consider sizing based on your bust for cupped styles, and on waist/hip for fitted, non-cupped styles. Corset backs are especially helpful if you have a fuller bust and a smaller waist. Many of our styles have a full, babydoll-style skirt—on those, you can comfortably choose your size based on bust. For more fitted styles, if you size up for bust, the waist may feel looser.
