Dainty but a little daring, Alise is a bias-cut silk dress with a low neckline trimmed with cotton eyelet lace and a silk tie at the bust. Empire waist, with a wide tie in the back to get the perfect fit. Bodice is lined, skirt is unlined. Bra-friendly, low balconette recommended.

The size guide shows the measurements we fit for, but certain styles may fit a wider range. Check the fit notes on each product description. The empire-waist babydoll dresses are quite loose on the bottom, so generally you'll want to size for the top.

dress length

We like our mini dresses short and sweet. Generally the mini dresses will be about 31" in length from your shoulder on the smaller sizes, and 32" on the larger sizes. The length increases about .5-1" per size.

Our shoes come in USA sizing, and are true to size. If you are between sizes, it is suggested to size up to the nearest size.

They are standard width as well.

Silk information

100% silk crepe de chine, 19 momme weight. Cut on the bias for a natural stretch and fluid drape. Lightweight silk fabric is slightly sheer.

Hand wash cold with gentle detergent. Do not wring or twist. Lay flat or hang to dry out of direct sunlight. Cool iron on reverse if needed, or dry clean.
